Roman Road to Salvation

       At Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, we truly desire that all be saved and come to know the joy of living a victorious life in Christ Jesus.
       This page is dedicated to everyone that wants to be saved and accept Jesus Christ as their savior.

1. Who is good enough to go to Heaven?  No One

There is none righteous, no not one.  Romans 3:10

2. Who has committed sin?  Everyone

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

3. The result of sin.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ our Lord."  Romans 6:23

4. Can I earn my way into Heaven?  No

For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

5.  How can anyone be saved? 

"That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."  Romans 10:9,10

"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for theungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  Romans 5: 6-8

"A Sinner’s Prayer"

Dear Jesus,

       I know that I'm a sinner, if I died now in my sin, I would go to hell. Right now, by faith, I am trusting you as my personal Saviour and my only hope for Heaven.  Thank you for dying on the cross for me and saving me from an eternity in hell. In Jesus name, Amen.
