Women's Day at Pleasant Green was a day which centered around being a serving church, a caring community, and a group of believers united to carry out the Great Commission of Christ as given in Matthew 28:18-20. The theme for this year is "What are You Doing 'Women'. for Heaven's Sake?" The chosen scripture for the event was Matthew 25:31-46. This passage of scripture encapsules the mission of caring for our brothers and sisters around us who are in need of the Gospel message and who need to see the love of Christ as exhibited through each believer.

The 8:00 a.m. service featured the first lady of Providence Missionary Baptist Church, Sis. Barbara A. Foster. The keynote speaker of the day was the First Lady of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, Sis. Debora Matthews. Each member was challenged by these dynamic women of God to walk each day in the way that was given by Christ. In addition be examples of Christ's love as He was an example to us of His love for us and God's love toward us.
